People who don’t have a home are usually attacked by economic problems, many of these situations lead families to take desperate measures and bad decisions that in many cases usually end in dire living conditions as is the case of Renee Delisle She was one of the more than 3,500 homeless people in Santa Cruz when she discovered she was pregnant. The Santa Cruz Sentinel reported that they rejected her from a shelter because they did not have space for her. While other homeless people slept in cars or under sewers, Renee ended up living in an abandoned elevator shaft until the water broke or Paula Corb and her two daughters lost their home and lived in their minivan for four years.
